New additions at "It's The Writing": Sample chapter of Thunderchief, short stories, plus Henry Family Narratives. New World War II aviation story: The story of Lt. Murrel Henry, a B-17 pilot who went missing in action in WW II and was unaccounted for until years later. This story covers Murrel's training and combat missions and solves the mystery of what happened to him and his crew. Murrel's fate was one of the several unfortunate events in Eighth Air Force during Jan 1942 that led to the firing of the 306th Bomb Group Commander and became the inciting event for the book and movie "Twelve O'clock High" by Bernie Lay and Sy Bartlett.
